Our Junior Ensemble is excited to be chosen as part of the Saskatchewan talent and will not only represent the Ukrainian culture and community but will also help raise money for Kinsmen Telemiracle!  We have started our own fundraising page and have set a fundraising goal.
Please click the link below to get to it and read our story as to why we are choosing to raise funds.  You are able to donate online and get your tax receipt right away.  If you would rather contact us directly, we would be pleased to connect with you to get cash or a cheque and then add your name and gift to our group’s total.  As a member of the Saskatchewan talent group chosen to perform at Telemiracle 44, Nutrien has generously offered to match all money raised through our fundraising efforts!  Make your donation through our fundraising page and your donation will go further to help others in need.

Telemiracle 44 will be broadcast live from Conexus Arts Centre on March 7 and 8, 2020, starting at 9 p.m. Watch it on all four Saskatchewan CTV stations and NewCap Television in Lloydminster, or stream it on the CTV Regina or CTV Saskatoon websites!   Chaban’s Junior Ensemble has been chosen to kick off the great line up of Saskatchewan talent and we will be on stage at the  Conexus Arts Centre in Regina at 9:17 pm!    We invite you to join us live at the Conexus Arts Centre or tune in and watch us on any of the options above.  We will be making an on-air presentation and hope that we can wow them with our total.

Countdown to Telemiracle! is a 2 1/2 hour, the web-based show which will be broadcast live from Conexus Arts Centre on March 7 between 6:15 and 8:55 p.m. It will feature performances by fourteen of the province’s best acts as we count down to showtime!

Thanks!

We were very sad to learn of the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a trailblazer for women’s rights and gender equality. May her legacy inspire future generations. Our most sincere condolences to the Ginsburg family.
#minneapolisukrainiancenter
"Like many accomplished Americans, the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had Ukrainian roots. Her father, Nathan Bader, was born in Odesa, Ukraine in 1896. Because of his Jewish faith, he was barred from attending local schools in imperial Russia. He immigrated to Brooklyn, New York with his family at age 13. His daughter not only obtained the education he so fervently desired, but rose to the heights of the American legal system as one of nine U.S. Supreme Court Justices. Her story is the story of America." ~ U.S. Embassy, Kyiv, Ukraine

❗️❗️❗️Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter signed a joint proclamation on Sunday to make Monday Ruth Bader Ginsburg Day in the Twin Cities.
