We were very sad to learn of the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a trailblazer for women’s rights and gender equality. May her legacy inspire future generations. Our most sincere condolences to the Ginsburg family.
#minneapolisukrainiancenter
"Like many accomplished Americans, the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had Ukrainian roots. Her father, Nathan Bader, was born in Odesa, Ukraine in 1896. Because of his Jewish faith, he was barred from attending local schools in imperial Russia. He immigrated to Brooklyn, New York with his family at age 13. His daughter not only obtained the education he so fervently desired, but rose to the heights of the American legal system as one of nine U.S. Supreme Court Justices. Her story is the story of America." ~ U.S. Embassy, Kyiv, Ukraine

❗️❗️❗️Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter signed a joint proclamation on Sunday to make Monday Ruth Bader Ginsburg Day in the Twin Cities.

Fall class update. We usually start classes after the September long weekend, however with school resuming this week, we wanted to ensure our families adjusted to their new routines before adding another activity. ⁣

We will be keeping you updated on our registration event and return to class. We are looking forward to the start of a new year. Classes are available for ages 3 to adult, no experience necessary.

If you are hoping to enrol a new student, please email us and we can put you on our contact list for updates! We look forward to having you join our Chaban family!
